With no surprise, Arkansas sophomore BJ Young announced that he would be entering the NBA Draft via Twitter.
The Razorbacks leading scorer becomes the second Razorback to declare for the draft this week, following Marshawn Powell. Young declared for the draft after his freshman season but backed out and came back for another season with the Hogs.
The guard from St. Louis averaged 15 points in both seasons of play for the Razorbacks, leading the team in scoring both seasons. He earned second-team all SEC honors in two seasons with Arkansas.
Young came up clutch for the Hogs, hitting multiple game winning shots this season. His career high 29 points came on a loss to Arizona State early in the season.
Young and Powell have until June 17th to drop out of the draft, unless they hire an agent.
